SAHRA Members,  Happy Holiday season! Trying to get ahead of our 2025 meeting notices. Please see full details below. January will be a Program Meeting featuring Dr. David Mason, the new Vice Chancellor of Workforce and Career Technical Education at SAU Tech, and is titled “Casting a New Vision for Workforce and CTE at SAU Tech”. Dr. David Mason Bio: Dr. David Mason, Vice Chancellor of Workforce and Career Technical Education at SAU Tech has over 15 years of experience in education, working for both private and state institutions. He holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Abilene Christian University and a Master’s in Counseling Education. As a first-generation college student, Dr. Mason understands the significance of career pathways that lead to high-wage and high-demand occupations and wants to create long-lasting partnerships with community stakeholders. When Dr. Mason is not at Tech, he enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife, Lizeth, and three children, Isabel, David Jr., and Jeremiah. They enjoy hiking, biking, camping, and visiting America’s national parks. If possible, we would like for you to attend in-person at SAU Tech in East Camden. We will be in the Executive Dining Room of the Student Center Building (building 10 of the map enclosed). While we do not have a sponsored lunch, the school does have a cafeteria with great lunch options. Please feel free to come early and enjoy lunch/bring lunch to the meeting that will begin at noon. For those unable to join in-person, we do have a teams call-in option below.
