CAHRA Work Matters Leadership Forum - 6th Annual

Fostering Civility in the Workplace

CAHRA

November 1, 2024 | 7:30 - 9:15 a.m.

At CAHRA’s Sixth Annual Work Matters Leadership Forum, we will explore "Fostering Civility in the Workplace," focusing on the critical role leaders play in shaping a respectful and collaborative organizational culture. This presentation will outline key strategies for instilling civility within teams, including the importance of leading by example, promoting open and empathetic communication, and addressing conflicts with fairness and sensitivity. We will examine real-world examples and discuss effective approaches to overcoming challenges such as unconscious bias and interpersonal disagreements. By highlighting best practices and offering actionable insights, this session aims to equip leaders with the tools to inspire a culture of respect and professionalism, ultimately enhancing overall team performance and organizational success. The event will be on Friday, November 1st, at the Clinton Presidential Center from 7:30am - 9:15am. This breakfast meeting is being held instead of the CAHRA monthly meeting normally on the 2nd Thursday of November. It is free of charge to all CAHRA members, non-member HR Professionals, and all interested CEO's and C-Suite Executives in the surrounding Little Rock area. Breakfast and drinks are provided with your free registration. We hope that you will join us on the morning of November 1st to hear top leaders in the community discuss these important issues within the business world.
