2023 Tim Orellano

Long-time SHRM volunteer and HR advocate, Tim Orellano, PHR is recipient of the 2023 Arkansas SHRM Russell Gunter Legislative Advocacy Award. He attended and testified in multiple legislative hearings, assisted with talking points and sample letters, and organized and inspired others to testify and reach out to their legislators regarding SB71.

Tim is the President of The Human Resources Team, which provides guidance and resources to prepare, support and implement Affirmative Action Plans and is an expert to testify in regard to the perils of removing AAP from state agencies.

Tim has been a leader in Human Resources in Arkansas for many years serving in many leadership roles. He has led the organization as State Director, chaired conferences and received recognition from ARSHRM as the HR Professional of the Year and the Jim Wilkins Lifetime Achievement Award.
