2016 Kenny Hall
Kenny has promoted the human resources profession and Arkansas SHRM with business leaders and elected officials. He has helped increase the visibility and credibility of our organization with the various state and federal regulatory agencies and departments. Kenny has included our organization in legislative activities and actively seeks our input on a variety of issues that impact the workplace and workforce. Kenny has made sure that the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce supports our organization by joining chapters and attending our conferences. He has also increased the participation of our members on various committees and task forces relating to important issues like unemployment insurance, worker's compensation, opposing marijuana legalization, workforce development, tax policy, and education.
Kenny has helped us understand and participate in the legislative process. He has supported our efforts by introducing us to legislators and their staff. Kenny provides important guidance and helps focus our efforts. He has always been supportive of our efforts and has been willing to help us find speakers and other resources to share with our members. He actively seeks our input when determining legislative and regulatory priorities for the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce. Kenny listens to our concerns and pays attention to the details relating to our issues.
Kenny is approachable and humble, always appreciative of any help or input relating to the legislative and regulatory issues in our profession. Arkansas SHRM could not be as effective or active in legislative and regulatory issues without Kenny's support and assistance. He is a wonderful resource and Arkansas SHRM is fortunate to have him as a resource. Arkansas SHRM is not always aligned with the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce on issues and in those cases, Kenny is never judgmental or hostile but seeks to understand our view and communicate the concerns or view of the Chamber.
